Rockwell Automation System Integrator
It is with great pleasure and pride that LMLogix Automation announces the achievement of the Rockwell Automation System Integrator Seal, and we congratulate all the employees who contributed to this accomplishment.
The importance of hiring companies with the Rockwell Automation System Integrator Seal lies in the assurance that their technicians and engineers are trained and capable of applying Rockwell Automation’s solutions and technologies, reducing the risk of installation problems and enhancing the overall safety of the developed project.
To earn the Rockwell Automation System Integrator Seal, the company’s technical staff must be properly trained to work with Rockwell products. To do so, various courses are offered in different areas of Rockwell Automation. At the end of each course, a complex exam is given to assess the participants’ skills. Depending on the number of employees who pass, the company advances closer to obtaining the Rockwell Automation System Integrator Seal.
In addition to training and certification, the company must have purchased and applied various Rockwell Automation and Allen-Bradley products across multiple industry sectors to demonstrate experience.
According to Rockwell Automation: “The System Integrator Partner Program provides robust commercial and technical training to maximize the skills of system integrators, recognize and reward system integrator performance, and provide the capability to find the right system integrator for a project that meets our customers’ needs and achieves mutual success.”
Benefits of the Silver System Integrator
The integrator program uses a tier system that includes Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum categories, each offering specific benefits in the relationship with the manufacturer, such as enhanced access to technical support, product and software discounts, access to exclusive platforms and technologies, and strategic assistance.
Participation in this program also provides access to the latest product releases, training sessions, and courses offered by Rockwell Automation, many of which are exclusively available to integrators. To maintain participation in the program, companies must stay updated, continuously improving the development and application of equipment, and pass annual exams to ensure the renewal of the contract. Without qualified staff, a company risks losing its integrator certification.
Rockwell Automation
Today, Rockwell Automation is one of the largest companies in the industrial automation sector globally, with hundreds of product lines serving various functions and industries. The company was founded in 1903 under the name Compression Rheostat Company. Its first patented product was a motor controller device used in cranes, and in 1909, the company was renamed Allen-Bradley, combining the names of its founders: Lynde Bradley, Harry Bradley, and Stanton Allen.
Over the years, the company grew significantly, particularly due to industrial demands during the First and Second World Wars, where numerous service contracts were signed to support production technologies. Even after the wars, the company continued to grow at a rapid pace, developing new products, with the Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) being particularly noteworthy.
In 1985, the industrial giant Rockwell International acquired Allen-Bradley, which is credited with coining the term “PLC” (Programmable Logic Controller) when it launched one of the first programmable controllers in 1970, the 1774 PLC. In 2001, the company underwent some restructuring and rebranding, becoming Rockwell Automation as we know it today.
